Ghana

ANTI-Corporate March and symposium

Report from Ghana:

We had a great A31 here in Ghana. I finally went to the northern part of Ghana to be precise Tamale to deliver a paper on Globalization. Before I left I copied the video you sent and went along with it.

We had a Talk in Tamale and the Vice Chancellor of the only University in the Region was the Chairman. In the evening we watched two films. The White Gold and AMistad a slavery film. The Morning before the Talk, I had the opportunity to talk on the local radio with my regional co-ordinator for an hour and explained corporate irresponsibililty and unaccountability to the people. There was a phone in and six listeners called to ask questions and made contribution.

In Kumasi youth demonstrated through the principal streets with play cards and made noise for their voices to be heard. After that they went for a press release and condemned IMF and their bad policies in Africa. In the Afternoon there was a Talk by Mr. Akwasi Pratt an anti-capitalist on the topic The Afrikan Debt Trap.

There was nothing bad here but a disgrace of Business, The UN, IMF and World Bank and Kofi Annan who's a son of our soil but has failed to work for us.

Please we did like the video and we would like to receive more especially those on IMF & World Bank or any videos on the stuggle. It's too inspiring and educative.

Peace and love.
