Brighton 'Sunny Day'

Renewable energy the focus of the 'Brighton Sunny Day'

A solar-powered sound system, solar heating displays and energy-efficient vehicles are just some of the attractions at Brighton's renewable energy show, called "Brighton Sunny Day". It will be held at the Ellipse on Brighton seafront (between the two piers) on September 1st, 2002 (11 am - 4 pm). Organised by Brighton Solar Projects, the aim of this one-day event is to promote awareness of renewables and energy efficiency.

Other attractions will include electric bicycles, an energy efficiency stand, a biodiesel manufacturer, a presentation of Brighton's Earthship, climate change information stalls, suppliers of renewable electricity, local green shops, a samba band, etc.
